Set your location to the country in which you live, you can select more than one country but you should only do this if the band regularly performs in these areas.

You should also pay attention to the image size. Slicethepie will only diplay your picture at a maximum of 368x272 pixels but if you upload a much bigger picture then it will take a long time to download to the visitors PC and they may give up before they get a chance to read your profile.
