General terms and conditions relating to the use of the Slicethepie website.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Slicethepie website (the "Website") and your relationship with Slicethepie Limited, a limited liability company registered in England and Wales under number 5783339 whose registered office is at One London Wall, London EC2Y 5EB (the "Company", "we" or "us"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not register for or use the Website. 1. Use of the Website
   1. 1.1The Website is provided to you for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using the Website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
   2. 1.2In addition to these Terms and Conditions there are terms and conditions that apply to specific areas of the Website and you will be asked to review and agree to before accessing those areas of the Website or participating in the activities provided in those areas of the Website.
2. Amendments

   We may update these Terms and Conditions (or any other terms and conditions relevant to specific areas of the Website) from time to time for legal or regulatory reasons or to allow the proper operation of the Website. Any changes will be notified to you via the e-mail address provided by you on registration or via a suitable announcement on the Website. The changes will apply to the use of the Website after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the new Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the Website. If you continue to use the Website after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of the Website indicates your agreement to be bound by the new Terms and Conditions.

3. Registration
   1. 3.1If asked to register for any part of the Website, you must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
   2. 3.2You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.
   3. 3.3Certain parts of the Website will not be available to you if you are under eighteen years of age or if you live in a country that has laws that prevent you from participating in certain activities provided on the Website.
4. Password and security
   1. 4.1If you register to use the Website you will be asked to create a password. In order to prevent fraud, you must keep this password confidential and must not disclose it or share it with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting membership@slicethepie.com immediately.
   2. 4.2If the Company has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the Website, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account.
5. Scouting
   1. 5.1You may scout in any Scout Room for which you are eligible.
   2. 5.2All scouting should be undertaken in good faith.
   3. 5.3You agree to review tracks in a considered fashion. Any attempt to review without consideration will be noted by system administrators and may result in you being permanently barred from further scouting.
   4. 5.4Copy and pasting of review comments is not permitted. The system administrators make regular comparisons of reviews to determine if you are reusing the same or similar comments in your reviews. If this occurs, it may result in you being barred from further scouting.
   5. 5.5The use of multiple accounts or browsers whilst scouting is not permitted and may result in you being barred from further scouting.
   6. 5.6Scout ratings are calculated from a number of factors and as such are likely to fluctuate. The calculation of your scout rating is final.
   7. 5.7Certain Scout Rooms may have entry restrictions, such as Scout ratings, location, age or gender. If your rating increases or decreases during a scouting session to the extent that you no longer meet the entry criteria, you will not be able to undertake any further reviews in that particular Scout Room. All reviews submitted up to that point will still be valid.
   8. 5.8Scouting earnings per review may vary without notification or requiring further acceptance.
   9. 5.9The system administrators withhold the right to restrict access to any Scout Room whenever they see fit.
   10. 5.10Scout Rooms' start and end times may be changed without notice.
   11. 5.11Scout Rooms may be closed or suspended at any point without notice.
   12. 5.12If you are found to be in breach of this clause 5, you may have funds earned from scouting removed from your account.
   13. 5.13Slicethepie is not liable for any reviews (or payments relating to them), which for whatever reason do not get recorded on our database.
6. Intellectual property
   1. 6.1The content of the Website (which shall be defined as including without limitation the look and feel and design of the Website, underlying non generic computer programmes, and all other content appearing on the Website together with any and all materials uploaded onto the Website by third parties other than the Company) is protected by copyright, design right, trade marks, database right and other intellectual property rights. You may solely for your own personal, non-commercial use:
      1. 6.1.1retrieve and display the content of the Website on a computer screen;
      2. 6.1.2store such content in electronic form (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network); or
      3. 6.1.3(where applicable) print one copy of such content

      provided in each case you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices.

   2. 6.2You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the Website Content without written permission from the Company or any third party owner of content as applicable.
7. Your use of the Website
   1. 7.1You may not use the Website for any of the following purposes:
      1. 7.1.1disseminating any unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material or otherwise breaching any laws;
      2. 7.1.2transmitting material that encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or code of practice;
      3. 7.1.3interfering with any other person's use or enjoyment of the Website; or
      4. 7.1.4making, transmitting or storing copies of any materials protected by copyright (and including without limitation materials referred to in clause 6 above) without the permission of either us or the owner of such materials.
   2. 7.2You will be responsible for our damages, losses and costs resulting from your breach of this clause 7.
8. Availability of the Website
   1. 8.1Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services at the Website will meet your requirements. We cannot guarantee that the service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs in the service you should report it to info@slicethepie.com and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
   2. 8.2Your access to the Website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.
9. The Company's right to suspend or cancel your registration
   1. 9.1We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions (or any other terms and conditions relating to any specific area of the Website).
   2. 9.2You can cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing at membership@slicethepie.com. If you do so, you must stop using the Website.
   3. 9.3The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Website shall not affect either party's statutory rights or liabilities.
10. Third Party Websites

    As a convenience to customers, the Website includes links to other web sites or material which are beyond its control. The Company is not responsible for content on any site outside the Website.

11. Advertising and Sponsorship

    Part of the Website may contain advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Website complies with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible to you for any error or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship material.

12. Applicable Law

    These terms and conditions will be subject to the laws of England and Wales. We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the United Kingdom.

13. Miscellaneous
    1. 13.1You may not transfer any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions to any other person. We may transfer our rights under these Terms and Conditions to another business where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.
    2. 13.2If you breach these Terms and Conditions and the Company chooses to ignore this, the Company will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions.
    3. 13.3The Company shall not be responsible for any breach of these Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
    4. 13.4The Website is owned and operated by Slicethepie Limited.
